Once again, Blustery Day Design is cutting edge awesome...Pantone "has been the world’s color authority for 45 years, providing design professionals with products and services for the colorful exploration and expression of creativity," they tell me, and it's true - Pantone pretty much reigns over color from graphic design to textiles.
Which is why the fact that they picked our shade of yellow for their color of the year 2009 is so nifty. Explaining their choice, the Pantone folks said, "In a time of economic uncertainty and political change, optimism is paramount and no other color expresses hope and reassurance more than yellow."
We feel pretty cool.
