Think outside the envelope!

In our many years of doing invitations, we have found it's fun to spread the love, and extend the designing to more than just the invite that gets mailed out. Why not make the items at the ceremony and reception match your invites?!? The coolness of the design shouldn't just be restricted to one piece! Might as well go all out and create an experience that everyone will remember. And don't just stick to the traditional items like seating cards and M&M pouches...anyone can do that! The more unique the better!!

Some things to have fun with to carry out your design, color, monogram, motif or theme:
  • guest book
  • favors (maybe a CD, photo card or favorite recipe)
  • candy guess
  • menus
  • bathroom signage
  • table centerpiece
  • welcome sign
  • "reserved" signs for head table
  • specialty drink list
  • activities for guests (cornhole, anyone?)
  • ceremony programs
  • anything and everything you can add your special touch to!
So go forth, you party planner you, and think outside the envelope! Don't be afraid to do something new and different. After all, who wants to go to another reception with the cheesy printed stock-art napkins?!
